I finished reading The Dragon Queen by William Andrews, and then moved on to another trilogy — this time a fantasy series by Leigh Bardugo (Shadow and Bone, Siege & Storm, and Ruin & Rising) I must say it was a rip-roaring read that kept me up late into the night!
I also read The Art of Aliveness by Flora Bowley for the Hobby Lobby prompt and The Elephant Keeper’s Daughter by Julia Drosten, which works for the Herstory prompt.
And finally, When The Body Says No by Gabor Mate was an excellent read on the connection between trauma and stress and chronic illness and cancers. If you’re at all interested in understanding the mind-body connection, I cannot recommend this highly enough.
