Well hello there!

It’s been a while since my last update, for which I do apologize. Things got a bit crazy and I had to drop a few balls to maintain my sanity. But I’m back and ready for another year of the Book Bingo reading challenge.

There are some small changes and additions to the 2023 reading challenge, and I’ll be switching up the format of these posts, too.

Instead of check-ins and monthly threads, I’ll be sharing book recommendations based on the year’s Book Bingo prompts. I’ll also tell you about all the books I’ve read during the month and the ones that are on my wish list — and why. And since I tend to read a lot more than 25 books a year, my reading lists won’t be limited to the Book Bingo prompts.

You can expect to find some interesting recommendations every month, no matter what kinds of books you like to read, since I have quite a varied taste in books — fiction, non-fiction, eagerly anticipated releases and lesser known books.

There will also be fun little extras, like a round-up of things I’m watching and loving, a poem of the month, some bookish quotes, and other fun little snippets.

From time to time, I will also surprise you with a bookish deep dive on a book that captured my attention. Think quotes from the book, curated author interviews, articles, and reviews from around the internet.

And I will open up recommendation threads from time to time so you can share some of your favorite reads with the rest of the Reader’s Nook community.
